Top of the league for the 14th year in a row!

With a certain level of humility, we can confirm that the Menhammar Stud remains firmly on the throne of the Swedish Breeders’ League. For the 14th consecutive year!

While the top horses bred at Menhammar did not fully deliver in the major races, the breadth of the programme stepped up in earnest. With prize money of SEK 28,256,776, Menhammar was almost SEK 10 million ahead of second place, while 247 victories was almost 100 more than the next most successful breeder.

While the engines powering us towards 25 million were of course Who's Who and Brother Bill, both of whom had seven-figure earnings during the year, in the end it was a strong all-round performance that gave results. We now reset the counter and begin dreaming of new successes in 2021, which will hopefully be a more enjoyable trotting year on all levels. We doff our cap to all of our co-workers, our partners in the form or buyers, owners, trainers and, above all, our bred and raised horses who have laid the foundations for these fine statistics.
